Cartier Watches

Louis Francois Cartier learned the repair and features of jewelry from Adolphe Picard until he was 28. In 1847, he took over the work and studio from his master and started his story. He achieved to produce unique designs and to approach the top.

After his son’s participation in the company in 1874, Cartier startted to compose its own watch collections besides the jewelry products. These collections include models that can be used in home, on wrist or as necklace. In 1988, the model for women with three-diamonds had great influences in the industry. The brand started to produce and manufacture special designs peculiar to elite and aristocratic families. 

On November 12,1906, Brazilian playboy Alberto Santos-Dumont remained in the air for 21 second in a handmadeplane and at the same time the Cartier on his wrist started to shine. This coincidence provided a worldwide fame for Cartier. This model was in limited production until 1911, after that, mass production of this model began.
